Well 2008 has come to an end and what a year it has been. It was a year of change and excitement. We had a quiet first two months. Hannah was enjoying school and Chris and I were enjoying working where we have been for several years, me teaching at Bonita Canyon and Chris at Allied. Hannah went through many changes though. She started working on potty training in January and come April was fully potty trained!

We started our backyard project in March. It was a long 3 months of getting a sprinkler system, grass and about 1,000 square feet of concrete put in in time for everyone over for Hannah's 2nd birthday.

Hannah also went to Disneyland for the 1st time in March, and we ended up going 2 more times this year. She loves it there!

March was a big month for us as Hannah got to go to Sea World for the first time (or at least the one that she was old enough to remember) and had breakfast with her favorite person at the time...ELMO!!!

Then in June on Father's day Hannah got to go to her first Angels game!+027-1.jpg)

We were all ready for summer, even though Chris doesn't get time off, he enjoys the days I seem to be less stressed! Hannah and I had fun all summer. We kicked it off with a great 4th of July in Palm Springs.

Then Hannah started ballet and is still loving it, they just had a recital in December that was very cute.

We enjoyed everything from strawberry picking, many trips to the beach, playing with friends, swimming and gymnastics lessons to our first family reunion. We spent 4 days in Idyllwild, CA. It was a great time with family, Hannah enjoyed getting to know her cousins more.
Then in August we got to spend a week with my mom. Hannah was so excited to get to spend some quality time with someone she only really knew over the phone. We went to the beach, shopping the WAP and just had fun hanging out at home.
As the summer came to and end, Hannah and I were sad to have to return to what we knew was coming.....school!! I adjusted much easier than Hannah. Her first few days were ok but then were followed by 2 weeks of screaming and pleading to not go to school. That was another big change for Hannah. She returned to school as a big girl and was now in the 2 year old room. That meant new teachers, new kids and stress!!!! Once her best friend Barret moved into that room all seemed to settle down. Hannah went to a Charger game in September. She really loves cheering on the Chargers with daddy.

Before we knew it, it was October and Hannah was all ready to be Cinderella for Halloween. She had such a good time tick or treating, I still think she has candy left, that's how much she got!!

Then it was Thanksgiving. We passed the torch back to Chris' mom to host it and so we got to have a little vacation in Palm Springs.

Once Thanksgiving was past it was Christmas festivity time. We all enjoyed many activities this holiday season. Hannah loved Santa more so than last year. She had her heart set on getting a pink jeep from Santa, and he delivered!! She got much more than she could dream of and is loving her new princess playroom! Chris and I managed to even get away from our precious angel a few times this year for some date nights and a Carrie Underwood concert! As Chris and I look back on 2008 we realize how blessed we are and are so thankful for our family and friends. We hope that 2009 brings everyone many blessings!
